Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Leoran (in.bookmyevent) is a marketplace platform developed and operated by MR Sagar Photography that connects event vendors with clients booking their services. The app allows:

• Photographers to manage bookings, send quotations, track project pipelines and collect payments
• Photo and Video Editors to receive editing job requests, manage their pipeline and deliver work
• Album Labs to receive album orders, manage their product catalog and track production
• Clients to browse vendor profiles and portfolios, request quotations, book photography/editing/album services for their events, pay vendors for confirmed bookings, and leave reviews

We act as a platform that facilitates connections and transactions between these parties. We are not a party to any agreement between vendors and their clients, and — as described in Section 6.3 — we do not process, hold or take a cut of the payments clients make to vendors for services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Leoran — this applies to vendors and Clients alike. Clients must be of legal age to enter into a booking and payment agreement with a vendor.
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification
• By using the app, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

3. Account Registration

You register using your mobile phone number. We verify your identity via OTP (One-Time Password) sent by Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at sagarstudios07@gmail.com.

You may register as a Photographer, Editor, Album Lab, Client, or multiple roles. Each role has its own dashboard and set of features.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Leoran, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, honest and up-to-date profile information
• Use the app only for lawful purposes related to photography, editing and event services
• Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your professional credentials
• Not upload illegal, offensive, defamatory or infringing content
• Not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt the app or its servers
• Not use the app to spam or harass other users
• Honor the commitments you make to clients and collaborators through the app
• Keep client data you receive through the app confidential and not share it with unauthorized parties

Photos, portfolios and other content you upload pass through automated AI screening at upload time to catch content that violates these Terms. You can report content posted by other users, or block a user entirely, from within the app — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle reports and takedowns.

5. Photographer / Service Provider Responsibilities

If you use Leoran as a photographer, editor or lab, you specifically agree to:

• Deliver services that match the description and quotation you provided to clients
• Communicate promptly with clients and collaborators regarding booking updates
• Issue accurate invoices and honor your quoted pricing
• Resolve client disputes directly and in good faith
• Ensure you have the legal right to provide the services you list on the platform
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws including the IT Act 2000, GST regulations and data protection requirements
• Obtain appropriate consent from event guests, attendees, and any other individuals you photograph or film while providing services, and ensure your capture, use, and storage of their images complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — Leoran acts only as a storage and communication platform for content you upload, and is not responsible for obtaining consent from individuals depicted in your photographs or videos on your behalf

5a. Client Responsibilities

If you use Leoran as a Client to book event services, you specifically agree to:

• Provide accurate event details (date, venue, requirements) so vendors can quote and deliver correctly
• Pay the vendor for any booking you confirm and accept, per the price and terms the vendor quoted you
• Communicate promptly with the vendor regarding your booking
• Resolve service-quality disputes directly with the vendor — Leoran facilitates the connection but is not a party to your agreement with the vendor (see Section 6.3)
• Leave honest, good-faith reviews — not defamatory, fraudulent, or intended to extort a vendor

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Processing

Payments for Leoran's own fees (Section 6.2) are processed by Razorpay Payments Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator in India. By making one of these payments, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service at razorpay.com/terms. Payments between Clients and vendors for bookings are handled separately via UPI, not Razorpay — see Section 6.3.

6.2 In-App Purchases

6.3 Service Payments — No Commission, No Escrow

When a Client pays a vendor for a confirmed booking's advance or balance, that payment is made directly from the Client to the vendor via UPI — Leoran does not process, collect, hold, or take any commission or cut of this payment. Razorpay is used only for the app's own fees listed in Section 6.2 (Profile Verification, Pro Plan, Boost, AI Culling) — it is never used to route money between a Client and a vendor.

A vendor who has not set up a UPI ID on their profile cannot receive advance payments through the app; Clients will see this and cannot accept a quotation that requires an advance until the vendor adds one. Disputes regarding service quality, delivery, or payment must be resolved directly between the vendor and the Client — Leoran is not a party to that transaction and holds no funds to refund or withhold.

6.4 Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes (including GST) applicable to payments you receive through the app. Leoran is not responsible for collecting or remitting taxes on your behalf.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

7.1 Verification Fee

The profile verification fee (₹199 / ₹499) is non-refundable once you submit your documents for review, as we incur costs for the verification process. If verification is rejected, we will contact you with the reason and you may reapply.

7.2 Pro Plan Subscription

• You may cancel your Pro Plan at any time from within the app
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial months already billed
• Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan at the end of the billing period
• Your portfolio is hidden from clients (not deleted) for 90 days after cancellation, in case you resubscribe. If you resubscribe within that window, your full portfolio is restored. If you don't, photos beyond the free plan's limit are permanently deleted after the 90-day window.

7.3 Service Bookings

Cancellation of photography, editing or lab services booked through the app is governed by the cancellation policy agreed between the service provider and client. Leoran is not responsible for enforcing or mediating cancellation terms between users.

7.4 Refund Requests

For refund requests related to app purchases, contact us at sagarstudios07@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

8. Intellectual Property & License to Use the App

The Leoran app, logo, design, source code and all content created by us are owned by MR Sagar Photography and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Leoran app on your own device for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. This license does not give you any ownership interest in the app, its source code, or its underlying technology — you are licensed to use the software, not to own it. This license ends automatically if you violate these Terms or if your account is terminated.

Content you create within the app (such as quotations, profile content and portfolio photos) remains your intellectual property. By uploading it to the app, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app for other users.

9. Profile Verification

The verified badge indicates that we have reviewed your government-issued identity documents and confirmed your identity. It does not constitute an endorsement of your professional skills or guarantee the quality of your services. Users are responsible for independently evaluating service providers before booking.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Leoran is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any disputes, losses or damages arising from transactions between vendors (Photographers, Editors, Album Labs) and Clients facilitated through our app
• We are not liable for service outages, data loss or technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity
• Upload false, misleading or impersonating content
• Fail to pay for services you have agreed to pay for

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data is removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably and informally before pursuing legal action.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a push notification or an in-app message. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
